Today was another day devoted to pulling Mile-a-Minute vines.
Some of the vines grew back in an area that I weeded two weeks ago, so I removed them again!
I also pulled a lot of Japanes Stilt Grass and up-rooted dozens of Wine Berry bushes.
I went upstream, to the source of the western fork of Turkey Branch. I found a pool of the largest fish that I have ever seen in the Turkey Branch watershed.
I took a water sample to test for coliform bacteria.
There is a sewer near this section of the stream.
The test soon showed a positive result.
