Over the past year, I have collected many aluminum cans that were left as litter, by people having “parties” in Matthew Henson Park . I decided to take these cans to my local recycling center. I was amazed to find that I had 20 pounds of cans!
At 40 cents per pound, a made a cool $8, which I will donate to my schools Haiti Action Relief Team which supports the Albert Schweitzer Memorial Hospital in central Haiti .
